We recently took part in the Poésíæ and Poésíaert - Global Poems Recitation and Art Competitions 2022.
This year the poetry competition was back for the second year, with a new section, Art. Attracting a staggering 250 schools from all over the world! Follow this link to view the list of schools that took part https://www.poesiae.com/schools-involved.
Webber student from Year 3 – Year 9 chose to either recite a French poem or create a piece of art to represent a French poem. Students then preformed their piece to teachers and peers during an In-house competition.
Each and every student worked exceptionally hard on their poem or art piece and it was extremely hard to choose our finalists. The finalists of the inter-house competitions will go on to represent our school in the Poésíæ and Poésíaert final later this month.
Many congratulations for our finalists below and everyone who took part in the competitions!
Matilda, Year 7 Ruth, Year 7 Adeife, Year 7 Adiba, Year 8
