Webber Independent School is delighted to announce that we have been recognised in three categories at this year’s Milton Keynes Education Awards.
Our Headteacher, Mrs Hilary Marsden, has been nominated for Headteacher of the Year, while Webber has also been shortlisted as finalists for both Primary School of the Year and Secondary School of the Year.
These nominations are a proud moment for our entire school community and reflect the dedication, passion and commitment that define life at Webber every day.
Mrs Marsden has led Webber with care, vision and unwavering dedication for the past 15 years. Her commitment to ensuring every child is supported, challenged and inspired has shaped the school into the thriving community it is today. Through her leadership, countless pupils have grown in confidence, discovered their strengths and achieved success both academically and personally. To see her recognised in this way is thoroughly deserved, and we are immensely proud of her achievement.
Being shortlisted for both Primary and Secondary School of the Year is equally significant. The Milton Keynes Education Awards celebrate excellence across the education sector, with schools from across the region taking part in a highly competitive judging process. To be recognised across both phases of our school is a wonderful endorsement of the exceptional learning environment our staff work so hard to create.
At Webber, we believe that education should nurture the whole child. Alongside academic achievement, we place great importance on confidence, creativity, wellbeing and character development. These nominations are a reflection of the commitment shown by our staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils and the continued support of our families.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributes to making Webber such a special place to learn and grow. These achievements belong to our whole community, and we look forward to celebrating together at the awards ceremony on Friday 19th June.
