Students at The Webber Independent School are celebrating another successful year of GCSE results across all subjects, with 93% of Year 11 pupils achieving grade 4 and above.
Student, Tate Kiveal, said: “I am absolutely delighted with my GCSEs and really shocked that all my hard work has paid off so well. My passion is Art and I am really happy with my Grade 9s as I want to go on to study Architecture. I would like to thank all the staff at Webber for their brilliant teaching and support with the extra booster classes and all the encouragement they have given me over my time here.”
Tate’s mother commented: “The school has brought the best out of Tate, he has been fully supported throughout his time at Webber which has allowed him to reach his full potential in his exams. We are so proud of him!”
Student, Tom Loh, was also delighted with his results: “Studying at Webber has been a brilliant experience for me, I’ve really made the most of all the opportunities and academic support that is here. Our year group has been a really tight-knit group so I’m delighted to see everyone again today and that everyone has done so well with their GCSE results. Thank you to all our great teachers and to Mrs Marsden, the Headmistress, for giving me this opportunity.”
Tom’s mother added: “Tom has grown both academically and personally during his time at Webber. The school has been so supportive and encouraging, helping Tom achieve his ambitions.”
Headmistress, Hilary Marsden, said: “It is wonderful to share the successes of our GCSE students, who should be very proud of everything they have achieved. Thank you to all the dedicated staff at Webber Independent for their commitment in supporting each of our students to reach their full potential.”
Mrs Marsden continued: “I wish all our Year 11 leavers the very best and I look forward to hearing about their future achievements.”
