Macmillan Coffee Morning

03 October 2016

Webber Eat Cake for  Macmillan Cancer Support

Students, parents and staff today at the Webber Independent School ‘faked it,  baked it and ate it’ for Macmillan Cancer Support.

As part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning the Webber learning community raised a wonderful  £320.00

Headmistress, Mrs Hilary Marsden said “ Webber have supported this Macmillan event every year as a school but this year it is even more poignant and close to home as a much valued and loved member of the Webber team is undergoing treatment for cancer. Our colleague is benefitting from the fantastic service and support that the Macmillan team give patients and their loved ones and we all want to get behind that. I am delighted that as a school family we care about each other and that our students also want to give back to the wider community in this way.”
