Meet the Team Behind the Magic: Discover the Warmth and Expertise of Little Webber Nursery

Posted: 27th May 2025

Choosing the right nursery is one of the most important decisions a parent can make, and at Little Webber Nursery, we understand that it’s about so much more than early education. It’s about trust. It’s about care. It’s about knowing your child is in a place where they will feel safe, loved and inspired to thrive. That’s exactly what the Little Webber team provides — a nurturing, joyful environment rooted in professional expertise, passion and a genuine love for childcare.

According to a recent report from the Department for Education, high-quality early years education is one of the most powerful ways to improve a child’s life outcomes, with children who attend strong nursery settings developing better social, emotional and language skills by age five. This is echoed by the National Foundation for Educational Research, which found that children who attend enriching early years settings are more confident, independent and school-ready. At Little Webber, our dedicated team brings this research to life every day — with curiosity-led learning, child-centred routines and a “home-from-home” feel that sets us apart.

Meet our team;

Lana – Nursery Manager

With over 15 years of experience in Early Years management, Lana leads our team with warmth, expertise and a deep commitment to excellence. Having overseen numerous Ofsted inspections resulting in Good and Outstanding ratings, she brings a wealth of leadership knowledge — but it’s her belief in relationships that truly shines.

“For me, the magic happens when a child feels safe, seen and supported. “That’s when confidence blossoms and learning takes root. At Webber, we build those bonds every day — with the children, with our families and with one another.”

Lana has led nursery refurbishments and new settings from the ground up, and she believes in designing environments that engage the senses, invite imagination and challenge children to grow through play.

Cordette – Deputy Manager

With 12 years in childcare, including a decade in leadership roles, Cordette is passionate about transforming environments and turning everyday moments into opportunities for wonder. She’s known for her creativity, calm presence and natural flair for making every child feel right at home.

“I love seeing the spark in a child’s eyes when something captures their imagination, at Little Webber, our rooms are carefully curated with natural, calming elements — but full of stories, laughter and learning too.”

Cordette’s focus on parent partnerships is key to the team’s success — and she’s always dreaming up new ideas for arts, crafts and outdoor fun, often using upcycled materials in beautifully creative ways.

Olivia – Early Years Practitioner

With over a decade of experience, Olivia brings deep knowledge and a nurturing touch every day. She is particularly passionate about helping children build confidence through hands-on activities, play-based learning and meaningful routines.

“I love creating fun, engaging activities that not only teach but nurture, whether it’s life skills, communication, or just building friendships — those early lessons stay with them for life.”

Kayleigh – Early Years Practitioner

Currently completing her Level 3 Childcare qualification, Kayleigh brings enthusiasm, warmth and a genuine love of reading to the setting. You’ll often find her sharing stories, leading circle time, or helping children find calm moments in the day.

“Books have always been my happy place, and I love sharing that with the children — stories really are the gateway to language, imagination and empathy.”

Minsadi – Support Practitioner

Minsadi brings 3 years of hands-on experience and a background in safeguarding, early childhood education and food hygiene. With a keen interest in creative play and outdoor learning, she’s excited to introduce new ideas in art and sensory activities.

“I love seeing children explore materials in new ways — the messier the better! It’s how they learn to express themselves and take pride in their creations.”

Ketki – Nursery Chef

Behind every happy lunchtime is our much-loved Nursery Chef, Ketki. A ‘Webber Mum’ herself, a qualified Level 3 Chef and proud vegetarian, Ketki is passionate about fresh, seasonal, nutritious food — with many ingredients sourced from Webber’s own produce.

“Children need fuel for learning and growing — and I love giving them that in the form of delicious, colourful meals that cater to every dietary need. And yes — we sneak in the veg where we can!”

Our recent ISI Inspection praised the school’s “exceptional levels of care and support” and noted how children in the Early Years “show high levels of confidence and independence.” Parents agree — with 98% saying their child is happy and thriving in our Nursery setting. And it’s thanks to a team like this — experienced, passionate and truly invested in every child’s journey.

At Little Webber Nursery, we don’t just prepare children for school — we help shape curious, capable, confident little learners who love coming through the door each morning.
