In a fantastic display of community spirit, we were thrilled to join forces with the Suleman Foundation to support families in need through The Great Cereal Topple — a heart-warming initiative that saw over 300 boxes of cereal donated to MK Food Bank. The event, held on Friday 16th May in the Sports Hall, brought together students and staff who eagerly watched the carefully choreographed domino-style topple of every donated cereal box — a fun and symbolic gesture that succeeded on the very first attempt.
The campaign formed part of a wider effort to collect essential breakfast items for local families across Milton Keynes. MK Food Bank, which provided over 10,000 food parcels last year, will now benefit from the 300+ cereal boxes generously contributed through this initiative. Delivered in collaboration with the Suleman Foundation — a local charity dedicated to tackling food poverty and supporting grassroots causes — the event highlighted the power of collective action and community partnership. At Webber, we believe in nurturing not only academic excellence but also a strong sense of social responsibility. We are incredibly proud of our students’ commitment to giving back and creating meaningful impact beyond the classroom. Mrs Marsden commented: “This was a shining example of what our students can achieve when they unite behind a shared purpose. While the success of the topple was a moment to celebrate, it’s the difference these donations will make that truly matters. We are sincerely grateful to the Suleman Foundation for their continued support — and to our entire school community for their incredible generosity.”
