Teaching Assistant - Pre-Prep Department

Full-Time hours: Full Time position, Term Time Only (38 weeks)

Salary: £13,538 annually 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our small and friendly Junior School to provide 1:1 and small group support in class.

The Webber Independent School is a small friendly co-educational day school for children from 6 months and 16 years.

Excellent communication skills, friendly manner and a good sense of humour are essential, coupled with strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

Duties include

  • Supporting class teacher in daily routines with the children.
  • Involvement in daily observations, small group work and working with children as they move through their day,
  • Support class teachers in preparing resources and displaying work in the classroom.

Nursery Practitioner

The Webber Independent School is a small friendly co-educational day school for children from 6 months -16 years.

We are looking for qualified, experienced and dedicated candidates to join our motivated staff team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual looking for a new challenge. The appointed candidate will hold a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare, with knowledge of safeguarding and first aid. Excellent knowledge of the EYFS is essential. The nursery is a provider of high-quality childcare and education for young children within a fun, stimulating and safe environment; working in close partnership with parents as well as providing a differentiated framework for learning to meet children’s individual needs.

Responsible and well-organised, you'll provide an environment where health and safety are of paramount importance, be that from the physical environment and room set up to dietary requirements and allergies. You'll be a good role model to your team, providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care to the children under your supervision.

The Webber Independent School has its own competitive pay scale. The salary will be commensurate with the experience of the candidate but will reflect the significance of the role in developing our provision as well as leading the Nursery.
