The HM Government recently announced as of April 2024, eligible working parents of 2-year-olds can access 15 hours of funded early education and childcare (over 38 weeks a year, there is a stretched offer of 11 hrs per week over 51 weeks) from the term after your child’s 2nd birthday.
We are pleased to announce that at The Webber Nursery, we are offering parents of full-time children (5 full days) this opportunity from 1 April 2024. To use your working parents’ entitlement from April 2024 you need to apply for your eligibility code by 31 March 2024 (recommended time to apply is between 15 January – 28 February 2024). Applications must be made through the HMRC’s Childcare Choices website. If you already have a tax-free childcare account, your code will be generated at your next re-confirmation before 31 March 2024. If you’re unable to apply online or have any problems with the application process, please contact HMRC’s Childcare Service Customer Interaction Centre on 0300 123 4097 for support.
Please remember you need to renew your code every 3 months to continue claiming the funding. The website below gives all the information you may need.
