Earlier this month, the whole school celebrated the King’s Coronation, from Nursery up to Year 11.
In the Nursery, children designed their own crowns to wear in their Crown Parade around the school, and invited their parents in for an Afternoon Tea Party.
Throughout the week, Year 3 students were super busy preparing their classroom for the King’s Coronation. The theme in their History lessons this term is Royalty, therefore making decorations helped to build their excitement for the upcoming celebrations!
The Junior School children also invited their families in for their Afternoon Tea Party, as well as doing an excellent performance of their Coronation Song and The National Anthem proudly in front of their families and teachers – where all the children performed brilliantly.
The Junior School children made their own crowns throughout the week, and also participated in their own Crown Parade throughout the school.
Finally, in The Senior School, the children had an Afternoon Tea Party with their parents, and celebrated the younger years Crown Parades, cheering them on and showing enthusiasm for their wonderful crown creations.
We had a lovely day celebrating the Coronation!
