You Said......We Are Listening! Bellevue Parent Survey
We had an excellent 205 parental responses to our Annual Parental Survey. Thank you for taking the time to give us your detailed written feedback, suggestions and areas for development. This is an invaluable resource for us to highlight what we are doing well and which areas would benefit from focus and action to be even better. As a Leadership Team and with our Bellevue Education Director we read every single comment and collate together and discuss the trends and themes. We then work these into the Webber Development Plan for 2022-24.
It is always lovely to read so many positive and constructive comments and see that our ratings in so many of the 36 questions were 90% and above!
We have pulled some of the Key Highlights into an Infographic that we will share with you over the next week.
The Themes we will be looking at and Action Points following the Survey are :-
1. Healthy Eating : A Consultation Lunch with Students and Parents in Term 3
2. Communication : A Parent Poll for feedback on Parent Teacher Consultations ( virtual and face to face) , Reports and Weekly Communication
3. Extra Curricular Activities : A Consultation in Term 3 with students and parents on what ECAs they would like and suggest for planning and sourcing partners for Term 1 2022
4. Facilities Upgrades and Traffic Calming : Feedback taken and ongoing budget, planning and capital expenditure plans.
Playground Space Upgrade!
I am delighted to announce that one significant key investment is already underway and is booked in to commence work over the summer holiday with the installation of a super 'astroturf' sports surface on the lower Junior School playground and PE teaching space. This will be enjoyed by the whole school in their PE and Games Lessons and sporting fixtures as well as upgrading the play space and resources for the Junior School children to enjoy at break and lunchtimes. Keep a look out for photos of the work in progress!
I will be writing to parents in Term 3 to explain how you can get involved in the 3 Consultations and Polls and I will update you in upcoming Bulletins and through our Social Media platforms on the outcomes of these and on the progress on the 4 Action Points.
Thank you again for your valued feedback and can assure you that we are listening !
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our Webber Families for their ongoing support, encouragement and thanks during Term 2 which has been our most challenging to date during the pandemic.
Have a lovely holiday time together with your wonderful children and I look forward to welcoming them all back to School on 26 April for a Term 3 full of learning, adventure and fun!
