All school ages exploring water play together

Welcome to Our Junior School

The earliest years of a child’s educational journey are a time of limitless exploration and incredible growth. In our Junior School, we harness the natural curiosity of childhood by engaging and empowering our children to discover who they are while learning about others and the world around them.

From the moment they enter our bright, welcoming, classrooms, children are immersed in an exciting, engaging, and progressive environment aimed at nurturing our younger students on their pathway to success.

Our degree-qualified, subject specialist teachers and the small class size provide students with a learning environment that allows for one-on-one attention, independent exploration, and the collaborative support necessary to ensure each child has the opportunity to excel.

Our strong extra co-curricular programme of music, sport, after-school activities, and leadership opportunities provide students with a well-rounded and vibrant experience that extends well beyond the classroom and out into our local community.

Our sense of community further enriches the learning experience with hands-on field trips and meaningful community initiatives.

The Junior School is committed to delivering a transformative experience to our children that builds their confidence, challenges them to step out of their comfort zone, and sparks a lifelong love of learning. We look forward to being part of your child’s journey.

A Learning Adventure

Junior school outside

The outdoors is as important as the indoors and both environments complement each other. Both our indoor and outdoor learning areas offer natural resources and places in which to play, learn, and discover. The children also benefit from discovering the local community and do so regularly on woodland walks and residential trips.

Small Class Sizes

Small class sizes enable our teachers to quickly form close relationships with children and parents. The broad curriculum offers children the opportunity to develop interests in a wide variety of subjects and to begin taking important steps to developing self-esteem and confidence in their ability to learn

A Love of Learning

A love of learning and an enthusiasm for challenges produce confident, highly motivated students who arrive every morning with a smile, and in an optimal state for learning. It has been known that they even count the days off in the holidays until it is time to come back to school.
